If you’re a multimedia journalist, radio journalist, photographer or video-maker between 18 and 30 years of age, the European Youth Press’ Orange Magazine is looking for you. The magazine is offering young journalists the opportunity to cover the Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum, which will be held in Bonn, Germany, from June 13-15. Deutsche Welle is Germany’s international broadcaster. More information about the forum can be found here.

Successful applicants will receive editorial training before and during the event, whose theme this year is “Media, Freedom, Values”. The forum gives young journalists the opportunity to sharpen their skills, and also to learn from peers and experts. Participants will produce youth-inspired pieces for digital and print editions. The application deadline is April 17. Applicants can be from any country. The program covers travel and accommodation, but you must apply for your own visa. More information about the program and the link to the application form are here.
