BrainGain Magazine is organizing an online essay competition for high-school students, on the effects and solutions of air pollution. Details are below:

Send us an essay on the effects and solutions of air pollution. Any student studying in class 8-12 can participate. Each student can send in one entry.

A few tips

  • Have a clear focus, and a message for a clearly defined target audience
  • Keep your essay realistic
  • Be constructive and forward-looking
  • Remember, the goal is cleaner air
  • Should be 500 to 800 words long

So hone your essay writing skills, and get ready to pit yourself against the best brains in high schools around the country! The three best entries will win exciting prizes. Top 5 entries get a chance to be featured on BrainGain Magazine. But whether you win a prize or not, just by participating you will help make the world a better place.

CRITERIA

Entries will be judged based on these criteria:

  • Originality and creativity of idea
  • Style, Grammar, Spelling, Punctuation and Composition
  • Organisation and Structure of the Essay
  • Creativity and Originality
  • Focused, clear, and error-free writing

REQUIREMENTS

  • No application is required
  • One entry per student
  • At the top of the first page, include your name, age, class, email, and the name and town of your school
  • Entries must be in English
  • Entries must be original and unpublished
  • Entries must be 500 to 800 words long
  • Please send your entry using the 'Submit' link only
  • The judges' decision is final
  • Once submitted, entries will become the property of the organizers
  • Upload Entry (Word or PDF only, please)
