Australia is the perfect country to combine travel and study for students of all ages. Our world-class cities are sophisticated and cosmopolitan and our climate is warm and sunny. We have a multicultural society that is tolerant and accepting of all races and religions, and best of all, we’re a really friendly bunch!

The Gold Coast is best known for its natural beauty and beaches and sees 300 days of sunshine each year. The city is vibrant and modern and boasts a strong community spirit with a relaxed lifestyle second to none in Australia.

But perhaps most importantly, Australia’s education system is truly world standard. Our universities, including Bond, are recognised internationally and our tertiary qualifications are accepted by employers and other institutions worldwide.

In the 2016 Good Universities Guide - an independent consumer guide to Australia’s higher education institutions - Bond University was awarded more 5-star ratings in the Educational Experience category than any other university in Australia.

Bond scored 5-star ratings (on a scale of 1 to 5) for its student satisfaction, teaching quality, generic skills and staff-student ratio. In fact due to the University’s smaller class sizes and personalised approach, Bond has Australia’s lowest student to teacher ratio of just 11:1.

Bond University’s campus provides you with access to world-class technology, education and sporting facilities including a moot court, digital media lab, film and TV studio and simulated trading room. Plus, it has a great community feel and vibrant student social life, with students from more than 80 countries worldwide taking advantage of the many recreational activities on offer on campus year round.

Bond’s approach to higher education goes beyond academic knowledge to encompass the key employability and leaderships skills that recruiters are looking for. And from day one, our on-campus Career Development Centre team works with each and every student to help refine your career goals and map out a career pathway.

They can also assist students to find part-time work while they study. Your international student visa may allow you to work part-time up to 40 hours a fortnight while studying, and you can work full-time during semester breaks.

Our unique Beyond Bond program will expand your horizons with internships, global volunteering programs, international competitions, industry conferences, study tours, community service and much, much more.

Bond’s innovative accelerated degree program means Bond students are able to fast track their careers and earn money faster by graduating sooner. For example, an internationally recognised bachelor degree can be completed in just two years (six semesters) via our three-semester-per-year timetable.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarships and awards are also available to international students who have excelled in the areas of academia, leadership, community and sporting.

Anjan Sachar, a scholarship recipient and Bachelor of Journalism student said travelling from India to Australia was a major step for both her and her family.

“The Gold Coast was everything I thought it would be and more,” Anjan said.

“If you’re looking for a personalised education experience accompanied with making connections from all over the world, Bond is the place for you!”
