    How to Apply:
    All scholarship applications are open to new students only. A current student at the University of Westminster is not eligible to apply. International postgraduate scholarship applicants must send their application by post before the deadline date. Applications are free of charge. Progress of an application can be checked online and one can make multiple applications.
     
    Students applying from outside the UK can seek assistance from a Westminster University representative from the list of country representatives. Applications from students with disabilities are considered on academic grounds. If a disability can potentially affect your studies, a confidential letter with the specifics should be included in the application, addressed to the Admissions Officer.Some courses have additional requirements, for example you may need to attend an interview or submit a written assignment. Details of these course-specific requirements are provided on each course page. 

     
  2. ICSP Scholarships at University of Oregon USA

    International students who demonstrate financial need and exceptional merit may apply for the International Cultural Service Program (ICSP). ICSP students agree to complete 80 hours of cultural service per year as required by the program. Aspirants should have strong academic records and communication skills aside of experience participating in cultural activities, performance and presentation skills.
     
    Eligibility Candidate must be admissible or admitted to the University of Oregon (UO) and should not be a US citizen, US permanent residents, or eligible to receive US. federal financial assistance. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet the minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement.
    Deadline Applications and supporting materials must be submitted to International Affairs on or before January 15, 2016.
    Amount Selected ICSP students receive atuition-waiver scholarship ranging from USD7,500 - USD30,000.
     
    How to Apply:
    The application form can be filled online, which should be accompanied by attachments including presentation materials, two recommendation letters and a two-page biography. Presentation materials should have topics related to the candidate’s cultural background and subjects the candidate wishes to address during the course of study.

     
  3. Mexican Government Scholarships for Foreign Students

    The Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, invites interested foreign citizens to study for a specialization, master’s degree or doctorate, conducting graduate or postdoctoral research under the 2016 Mexican Government Scholarship Program for International Students. Business administration, plastic surgery, accounting, marketing, dentistry and advertising, and related areas are not eligible for scholarships.
     
    Eligibility Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree, as required by the program for which the scholarship is requested.
    Minimum grade point average of eight (8.0) on a scale of 0 to 10, or the equivalent, for the last academic degree received.
    Be accepted to or currently enrolled in a program at one of the participating Mexican institutions.
    Deadline 31 August,  2015
    Amount Monthly stipend equivalent to USD 595.934for specialisations degree research, Spanish language and Mexican culture courses.
    Monthly stipend equivalent to USD 744,912for doctoral studies and research, postdoctoral fellowships and medical specialisations and subspecialisations.
     
    How to Apply:
    No applications will be accepted directlyfrom the applicants. The entire scholarship application process must be done at the Mexican or concerned embassy for the applicant’s country. Applications for the scholarships will be accepted until 31 August 2015.
    The candidate should have a Bachelor's, Master's or Ph D degree as required by the program for which scholarship is requested. Preference is given to candidates who select a program important for the development of one's country. Holding faculty or research positions at public universities and scientific research centers in the home country or in charge of areas or programs of special interest for the country are of added advantage.

     
  4. University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (Canada)

    The University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (UMGF) are merit-based awards that are open to students of any nationality who will be registered as full-time graduate students (Masters or PhD) at the Universityof Manitoba.
     
    Eligibility Any graduate degree programs offeredby the University  (except those in the Faculty of Medicine and in the Master of Business Administration – MBA). Students with a minimum GPA of 3.75 (above B+) at a recognized university based on a Bachelor, Masters, Graduate Diploma or a Doctoral degree. All students regardless of citizenship are eligible to apply.
    Deadline Deadline varies per faculty.
    Amount The value of these fellowships is USD18,000 (Ph.D.) and is USD 14,000 (Master’s) for a 12 month period.  Students areeligible to receive the UMGF for the first 24 months of their Master’s program and the first 48 months of their PhD program.
    Fields of study Students in all fields of graduate study (with the exception of those in the Faculty of Medicine and in the Master of Business Administration [MBA]) are eligible to apply.

     
     
  5. DAAD Masters Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance (Germany)

    The scholarship scheme is open to candidates from Africa, Latin America, North/Central America, South Asia, South east Asia as well as from countries in the Middle East. See list of eligible countries.

    Eligibility The scholarship targets graduates with a first class university degree (Bachelor or equivalent), and who aim to work for the social and economic development of their home countries. The university degree should have been obtained during the six years before the application for the scholarship. Applicants cannot be considered if they have been in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of application. The scholarships are offered to both graduates without professional experience and to mid-career professionals. The main criteria for selection are the study results, knowledge of English (and German), political and social engagement, a convincing description of the subject-related and personal motivation for the study project in Germany and the expected benefit after the return to the home country.
    Deadline Application period - 1 June 2015 to 31 July 2015, Study in:  Germany,  Next course starts Sept-Oct 2016
    Amount DAAD scholarshipholders are exempt from tuition fees. DAAD pays a monthly scholarship rate of currently 750 Euros. The scholarship also includes contributions to health insurance in Germany. In addition, DAAD grants a travel allowance and a study and research subsidy as well as rent subsidies and/or allowances for spouses and/or children where applicable.

    How to Apply:
    Applications for the selected Master courses and for the DAAD scholarship should be submitted to the respective universities only (not to DAAD). In the DAAD application form the desired priority of study courses should be indicated.
