Top 50 Universities in the World: QS Rankings 2013-2014

The just released QS World University Rankings for 2013-2014, have shown few surprises in the list mostly stable the ranking reaffirms the U.K. and the U.S. as hotspots for top academic institutions.

The just released QS World University Rankings for 2013-2014, have shown few surprises in the list – mostly stable the ranking reaffirms the U.K. and the U.S. as hotspots for top academic institutions.

Interestingly though, U.S. universities represent less than a third of the top 100 universities on the list, and only a quarter of the top 200. The list also indicates a resurgence in European universities – possibly due to an increase in English-taught courses. Several Asian and Australian universities continue to feature on the list, but QS cites the picture for the Asian university trend as being “mixed”.
