BrainGain Magazine Registers Over 2 Million Hits in One Year

Strong Growth Propelled by Content Expansion and Targeted Marketing Initiatives

New Delhi, November 14, 2011– BrainGain Magazine (www.braingainmag.com) – a publication for South Asian students, turned one recently.  The magazine announced the winners for its month long anniversary celebration to mark the occasion.

To celebrate the anniversary, the magazine gave a fresh look to its site, created a new logo along with launching a number of contests on Facebook and Twitter.  Colorful logo of the elephant not only signifies the diverse experience that enriches the lives of the individuals but also the endurance essential for pursuing your dreams.

The competition included essay and tagline writing along with video and poster making. Ajit Kumar Mishra from Indian Institute of Management, Indore won the tagline contest.  Video making was won by Abhilash Mohapatra from Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai .Team Advitiya from Symbiosis Center for Information Technology was most appreciated for poster making and essay writing was aced by Team Hawk –I of Indian Institute of Management, Indore.

Since its inception in November 2010, BrainGain Magazine has received over 2 million hits. It partnered with IIT – Delhi and IIT – Mumbai for their youth festivals. These festivals are amongst the largest in India. The magazine has added six interactive verticals focusing on Engineering, Law, MBA, Medicine, Hospitality Management and Media and Communication fields of studies educating students about study abroad options. In the near future, BrainGain Magazine plans to launch new verticals covering the entire spectrum in higher education from Archaeology to Zoology.
