The Times Higher Education introduced its Asia University Rankings for the first time in April 2013; saying that "Asia is the most exciting region on earth in higher education terms". Who topped the list?

The Asian rankings included 57 of the top 400 universities in the world.
Japan leads the way with the highest number of univerisities in the top 100 spots in Asia.
