Sustainability as a Career Path

Projjal Dutta holds the NYC's Metropolitan Transportation Authority's (MTA) first ever created role as Director of Sustainability. His work consists of working to reduce the environmental footprint of the MTA. He spoke with braingainmag.com about becoming one of the world's first one hundred LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited individuals, and his career path to becoming the Director of Sustainability Initiatives for the MTA. Dutta also lectures and teaches at U.S. universities including Harvard, Yale, and Columbia, on the topic of sustainability.
