Aashish Kalra is the Chairman of Duranta. Duranta is a holding company with diversified companies in Infrastructure, Real Estate, Energy, Technology, Logistics and Hospitality. He was the founder and managing director of Trikona Capital, where he deployed USD 1 Billion in Indian infrastructure development and created value of approximately USD 10 Billion. Previously, Aashish co-founded Cambridge Technology Enterprises ("CTE"), a Boston-based venture capital firm, which invested in various companies, such as Cambridge Samsung Resources Worldwide, Inc. (CSR), which went public. Aashish is often quoted in international media and was featured in the "Young Turks" program on CNBC. He is a frequent international speaker and has participated in industry events in America, Europe, India, China and the Middle East. In 2008, he was named one of the "Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business" by the Asian American Business Center, NY.
