Kolkata college students win 10-day study trip to Canada

Two lucky students get to go to the Alberta School of Business in Edmonton

Students from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, are celebrating their victory in the Big Canada Challenge Grand Prize awarded to the best performing team at the Sri Ram College of Commerce Business Conclave 2016.

Offered in association with the University of Alberta and Air Canada, the Grand Prize will bring two students of the winning school on a 10-day academic trip to the Alberta School of Business in Edmonton, Canada. Here, they will attend management classes and interact with faculty members. They will also visit Canadian tourist attractions such as Jasper National Park in the Rocky Mountains.

The 2016 Big Canada Challenge is the second edition of an annual education competition organized by the High Commission of Canada, which engages Indian students at the undergraduate level on a relevant theme.

Last year’s winning team of two from the Delhi Technological University spent 10 days at the Rotman School of Management in Toronto, Ontario.
